Thieves break into Pangasinan high school

Thieves broke into the Mangaldan National High School in Manaoag town in Pangasinan province, taking equipment and more than P2,000 cash.

 

Six classrooms were ransacked in the incident that was discovered on Tuesday morning, according to a report by GMA Dagupan on Wednesday.

 

Of the six clssrooms, four were in the Special Science Class building while two were in the Mathematics building.

 

Mangaldan police head Superintendent Jackie Candelario said they lifted a fingerprint from a jalousy window.

 

Following the incident, the school is considering beefing up security measures, including adding closed-circuit television equipment.  — Joel Locsin/ELR, GMA News
