Cebu cop killed in Valentine's Day ambush

A police officer was killed in Minglanilla, Cebu last Saturday by unidentified gunmen as he was on his way home to celebrate Valentine's Day with his family.

SPO4 Rasul Segismar was heading home on his motorcycle when he was ambushed and shot at least 10 times, according to a GMA Cebu report. Segismar was killed on the spot.



"Huli niyang text nag-greet sa amin ng mga bata.,” the police officer's widow Mary Ann. “Nung tinawagan ko, hindi na siya sumagot. Yun pala binaril na siya.”
