NGCP: 10-hr power interruption in Iloilo, Antique provinces Sunday

Parts of Iloilo and Antique provinces may experience power outages lasting as long as 10 hours on March 8, Sunday, the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines said Thursday.

The NGCP said this is due to the scheduled shutdown of Power Transformer No. 2 at Sta. Barbara Substation serving the 69-kilovolt Sta. Barbara-Sibalom line.

Affected by the outage are areas serviced by the Iloilo and Antique Electric Cooperatives.

In its advisory, the NGCP said the affected areas could experience power outages from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. — Joel Locsin/LBG, GMA News
