Stepdad faces charges for raping 14-year-old in     Quezon

A 52-year-old man now faces rape charges for allegedly raping his 14-year-old stepdaughter in Quezon province.

The victim told police the suspect had been raping her since she was in Grade Six, GMA News stringer Peewee Bacuño reported.

She finally reported the violations to the Pitogo town police last March 10, Tuesday.

According to the victim, she had been living with her mother and stepfather since she was four years old.

She said the rapes would occur every time her mother was not at home. She said she would resist but she was afraid of what her stepfather can do to her.

The rapes became known last March 4 when the victim talked to a barangay captain, who reported the incident to the town social welfare office. — Joel Locsin/LBG, GMA News
