WATCH: Road rehab projects cause traffic slowdown in Baguio City

Visitors to Baguio City this Holy Week and during the dry (summer) season may have to brace for slow-moving traffic in some areas due to road repair projects.

Roadworks are ongoing in at least nine roads in the city's central business district, GMA Dagupan's Joanne Ponsoy reported on "24 Oras North Central Luzon."

The Department of Public Works and Highways estimates the road repair works will not be finished until at least June.

However, the DPWH has ordered the suspension of the roadworks for the Holy Week, or from March 31 to April 6.
