2 killed, 4 injured in bus-van collision in Lanao del Norte

Two people were reported killed after a van collided with a truck in Kauswagan town in Lanao del Norte on Wednesday afternoon.

Four were also injured in the collision in Barangay Bagumbayan, according to a report Wednesday on GMA News' Saksi.

Initial investigation showed a Rural Transit bus was traveling fast along the highway when it figured in the collision.

The bus then went out of control and hit the van.

The van driver was among the fatalities.

The injured were brought to a hospital in Iligan City while police have taken custody of the bus driver. —Joel Locsin/KG, GMA News
