Poultry farm worker found dead in Davao City, throat slit

A poultry farm worker was killed after an unidentified assailant slit his throat in Davao City's Toril district on last Sunday.

The victim identified only as Boying was already lifeless when found by police and local officials in Barangay Baracatan, GMA Davao reported early this week.

"Hindi ko talaga yan kilala, hindi nga yan nagpa-logbook sa purok kasi bago lang yan dito. Taga-Malita, Davao Occidental daw yan," Barangay Baracatan captain Danilo Darvin said.

Motorist Ruel Ingaod said he saw the victim alive but bloodied when he passed by the road.

"Akala ko lasing lang yan o ano, baka nahulog lang sa motorsiklo," he said.
