Pangasinan chicken dressing plant gets bomb threat

A bomb threat briefly disrupted operations at a chicken dressing plant in Pangasinan province on Wednesday.

GMA Dagupan on Thursday reported that the threat to the plant in San Fabian town came via a text message.

Also, it said said the sender claimed two bombs had been planted around the targeted place.

Police Special Weapons and Tactics and Explosives and Ordnance Division teams rushed to the area to conduct paneling and clearing operations.

After the teams cleared the area, the plant resumed operations.

Investigators are gathering leads on who sent the bomb threat, and are determining the motive. — Joel Locsin/LBG, GMA News
