Sea turtle found tied, with broken shell in Guimaras

Can the Department of Environment and Natural Resources act on this?

 

A pawikan (sea turtle) was seen tied and with a broken shell off Guimaras in the Visayas recently, GMA News TV's "Balita Pilipinas Ngayon" reported Tuesday.

 

YouScooper Donna said the pawikan was seen off Natago Beach in Guimaras, where tourists were supposedly allowed to take photos with the turtle.

 

Donna called on the DENR to investigate the matter.  — Joel Locsin/ELR, GMA News
