Dead sperm whale with bullet wound washes ashore in Davao Oriental
A sperm whale with a bullet wound in its dorsal fin washed ashore in Baganga town in Davao Oriental province Thursday.
The whale was already dead when residents saw it, GMA News TV's "Balita Pilipinas Ngayon" reported Friday.
An initial check of the whale by Department of Environment and Natural Resources personnel showed the whale had a bullet wound at its dorsal fin.
Photos of the whale, which weighed about five tons, were posted on the Facebook account of "24 Oras Southern Mindanao."
