NGCP: 10-hr power interruption in parts of Northern Samar

A power interruption lasting up to 10 hours may occur over parts of Northern Samar on Saturday, the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines said.

The NGCP said the interruption is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and may affect NORSAMELCO's Bobon, Bobolosan and Allen substations.

It said the scheduled shutdown of the 69-kilovolt Palanas-Cara-Catarman-Allen-Bobolosan line is meant to facilitate maintenance works.  — Joel Locsin/LBG, GMA News
