Fetus in tin can found in Lucban, Quezon

Children playing near a grassy area in Lucban, Quezon stumbled Sunday upon a tin can containing a fetus.

 

The can and the fetus were found at a grassy part of Bettencourt St., Calmar Subdivision in Barangay Kulapi, GMA News correspondent Peewee Bacuño reported Monday.

 

Lucban police said the children brought the fetus to the barangay hall of Barangay 10 but the barangay officials allegedly refused to take the fetus.

 

The fetus was left in front of Banahaw CATV until police learned of the incident and then was later turned over to the Lucban Municipal Cemetery.

 

It was the second fetus found in the province since last week when one was discovered placed inside a paper bag and left at a building construction site in Lucena.  — Joel Locsin/ ELR GMA News
