Meralco: Yellow alert over Luzon from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday
Residents and businesses in Luzon were advised Monday to conserve energy as the Luzon grid is to go on yellow alert from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Manila Electric Co. said.
Citing information from the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines, Meralco said this is due to the outages of some power plants.
"Due to the outages of some power plants, Luzon grid is on Yellow alert or reserve is thin from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. as per NGCP," it said.
