CIDG eyes ex-husband’s girlfriend as witness in Tania Dee slay case

The PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group is eyeing one of the suspects in the killing of bank teller Tania Camille Dee as a possible witness in the case.

Director Benjamin Magalong, CIDG director, told GMA News that Angela Dychioco, the girlfriend of Dee's ex-husband Fidel Arcenas, could help in the investigation that could result in the filing of charges against Arcenas within the week.

Dychioco earlier tagged Arcenas as the person behind the shooting that killed Dee in Angeles, Pampanga.

The police official corrected earlier reports that Dychioco would recant her earlier statement implicating Arcenas in the killing.

Magalong said the affidavit would be used as a supplemental evidence in the CIDG's investigation.

He said Dychioco and members of her family went to the CIDG on Wednesday. He said their meeting lasted for five hours.

She was said to be fearing for her safety. -NB/JJ GMA News
