Hiking, trekking on Mt. Pulag suspended due to Egay
Hiking and trekking at Mount Pulag on the borders of Benguet, Ifugao, and Nueva Vizcaya were suspended Sunday amid bad weather conditions from Tropical Storm Egay (Linfa).
State-run Philippine Information Agency quoted Mount Pulag National Park Superintendent Emerita Albas as saying park rangers have been deployed at jump-off sites to prevent would-be hikers from heading to the summit.
Egay had affected several parts of Northern Luzon, bringing heavy rain and strong winds. — Joel Locsin/BM, GMA News
