PWD voter registration at mall in Cebu on July 17

Persons with disabilities (PWDs) in Cebu will get a chance to register as voters for the May 2016 elections on July 17, Friday.

 

The registration at a mall will push through even if Friday is a holiday marking Eid'l Fitr, GMA Cebu's Vic Serna reported Tuesday.

 

But provincial election supervisor Lionel Marco said they will also accommodate the cases of non-PWDs.

 

"(H)indi ibig sabihin na dahil PWD registration hindi tayo tatanggap ng registration, transfer sa ordinary voters," Marco said.

 

Friday's on-site registration starts 10 a.m. and ends 5 p.m.  — Joel Locsin/ELR, GMA News
