E-Games establishment closed after shooting incident
The local government of Dasmariñas, Cavite has ordered the shutdown of the E-Games Amusement Center where a patron shot and killed a security guard last weekend, GMA News' "24 Oras" reported on Friday.
The Dasmariñas mayor questioned why Camaña managed to get inside the establishment with a gun.
The local government was reportedly to be considering putting up a bounty for the arrest of the electronic gaming patron who gunned down a security guard last weekend.
The suspect, identified as Marvin Camaña, is a former barangay tanod from Purok 4, Barangay Salawag in Dasmariñas.
He was caught on CCTV video shooting security guard Joel Lugasan after the latter told him to stop smoking inside the E-Games Amusement Center.
A report on GMA-7's "24 Oras" on Friday said that the government Dasmariñas organized a task force to look into the case.
An arrest warrant has yet to be issued against the suspect. -Trisha Macas/NB, GMA News
