2 injured in Cavite LPG explosion
A leaky LPG hose caused an explosion that injured a 50-year-old resident and her 87-year-old father in Dasmariñas, Cavite Monday morning, according to a report on GMA News TV's “State of the Nation with Jessica Soho”
Resident Marina Parker was preparing breakfast when the lights were switched on, igniting the gas that had leaked from the hose.
Parker was burned on the side of her body. Her father, Antonio delos Santos, was also burned, but not as badly.
The gas explosion was so powerful that it literally blew the roof off the victim's house.
“Yung tita ko kasi parang wala ng pang-amoy,” Parker's nephew, Jotham delos Santos, explained later. “Parang mahina na, po, ang pang-amoy niya. [So, posibleng] hindi niya na aamoy yung [gas].” — DVM, GMA News
