Sunday night fire razes 5 Cavite shops

A fire razed five shops in Barangay Medicion II-C in Imus, Cavite on Sunday night, Super Radyo dzBB's James Agustin reported.

Among the shops razed were a water refilling station, sari-sari store, an eatery, computer shop, and  shop that sold animal feeds.

The fire started at around 9 p.m., reached the second alarm, and was put out at 10:34 p.m.

There were no injuries from the fire, and property damage was estimated at P500,000

According to Imus Bureau of Fire Protection arson investigator Fire Officer 3 Ronaldo Bacareza, the fire started at the water refilling stations second floor, then spread to the other shops.

An electrical problem may have started the fire, Bacareza added. — DVM, GMA News
