Bataan highway cleared of tree toppled by Storm Kabayan winds, rain

One lane of a section of the Roman Super Highway in Bataan on Friday was closed to motorists due to a road obstruction.

A report on "Unang Balita" said heavy rain and winds from Storm Kabayan felled a tree along the highway in Abucay town.

The tree lumbered across one lane, prompting highway authorities to close the lane for hours, it added.

Personnel from the Department of Public Works and Highways and from the Metro Bataan Development Authority have already cleared the highway of the obstruction. — LBG, GMA News
