Bomb explodes on highway to Lamitan Port

A bomb exploded along a highway to the Lamitan City Port, late Tuesday.

In a report by the Lamitan City Police Station, an improvised explosive device went off along the highway in Barangay Kulay Bato at around 10:30 p.m.

The report said the bomb was placed near a videoke house, which was damaged by the blast.

No one was reported hurt in the explosion.

Police investigators have yet to determine the motive for the explosion. —ALG, GMA News
