Chinese nabbed for killing transgender Pinay found stuffed in luggage
A Chinese national was arrested Saturday for the killing of a Filipino transgender, whose body was found stuffed in a luggage in Bacoor, Cavite.
Superintendent Ronald Claravall, chief of the Bacoor police, identified the arrested suspect as Che-Yu-Tsai.
The Chinese national was arrested when he returned to a condo unit in Pasay City where the transgender identified as Rober William del Rosario alias Asheley Ann of Mabalacat, Pampanga was believed killed.
Claravall said the transgender's body was found stuffed in a brown luggage along the southbound lane of the Cavite Expressway in Barangay Zapote 5, Bacoor.
The body was also covered with a black garbage bag.
Claravall said the victim had contusions in the head and face and a stab wound in the neck.

He said that the Chinese national was traced when they coordinated with the Pasay City Police Station.
Chief Inspector Rolando Baula of the Pasay City police said through a CCTV footage, they saw the Chinese national and the transgender enter the condominium unit.
They also saw the Chinese national exiting the room with a push cart, carrying a brown luggage.
He said police forensic investigators found traces of blood in the condominium unit.
A case of murder is being prepared by the Pasay City police against the suspect. —report from Rida Reyes/ALG, GMA News
