Jeep carrying 11 inmates hits car of Leni Robredo’s 82-year-old ma

A jeep carrying 11 inmates and their guards hit the car of Vice President Leni Robredo's 82-year-old mother in Naga City on Monday, GMA News' "24 Oras" has reported.

According to the driver of Robredo's mother, Sally Gerona, the jeep cut into the car's lane and bumped their vehicle.

The report said Gerona was safe but was shocked by what happened.

Gerona has already talked with the Vice President after the incident.

The jeep's driver admitted that he didn't see the car before the vehicles hit.

He and the guards were taking the inmates back to jail following their hearings in court. —NB, GMA News
