PNP Quezon seize more than P2-M suspected shabu
The Philippine National Police (PNP) Quezon provincial office has seized at least 799.25 grams of suspected shabu estimated to cost about P1,478,612 on Sunday.
Based on the report, in the evening of September 4, 2016, the Lucena City police conducted drug buy bust operation at Willow Brook Avenue, Phase III Pleasantville Subd., Barangay Ilayang Iyam, Lucena City.
Quezon Police Provincial Director Sr. Supt. Antonio C Yarra identified the suspects as Liera Gamez Silverio, 35, a jobless resident of Lucena City and Rhodora Reyes Ilao, 42, a businesswoman and resident of Sariaya, Quezon.
During the said operation, a police officer with confidential informant were able to buy one sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu from Liera with approximate weight of two grams worth about P3,700, three plastic sachets containing 300 grams of suspected shabu worth about P555,000 from the suspect.
Silverio and Ilao are now detained at the Lucena City Police Station custodial facility while criminal case for violation of provisions under Republic Act No. 9165 is being prepared for filing before the Lucena City Prosecutors Office.
On Monday, the joint teams of Lucena City PNP led by Police Supt. Dennis De Leon, Officer in Charge and GMA MPS in coordination with PDEA-4A conducted a follow up operation at Barangay Poblacion 1, GMA Cavite that led to the arrest of Jamael Dorman Madale and Alvin Gobrin Unlayao or Benie.
Confiscated from the suspects are five packs of white crystalline substance believed to be shabu with approximate weight of 499.25 grams and value of P923,612.
The suspects are presently detained at GMA MPS custodial facility while necessary documents are being prepared for filing in court against the suspects.
