Dingalan alternate route open to light vehicles

Residents in Dingalan, Aurora now have a way in and out of their municipality with the opening of an alternate route, Unang Balita reported on Tuesday.

The alternate route is however open only to light vehicles, GMA News' Katrina Son reported.

Typhoon Karen destroyed the bridge in Dingalan over the weekend, rendering the municipality isolated. Many have been stranded.

Authorities rushed the work on the alternate route to provide motorists and residents a way in and out of Dingalan.

The alternate route is currently one way as work goes on to make it wider for buses and trucks to pass through. —KG, GMA News
