Bridge built for students who used to swim across the river in Rizal

Christmas came early for the students of Casili Elementary School in Rodriguez, Rizal.

Starting this October, the children no longer have to swim across the river to get to their classes. Instead they can make use of the newly-built bridge over it.

A report on News To Go on Wednesday said the children got their wish four years after their stories were aired on GMA Network.

The Casili Pedestrian Suspension Bridge was built with the help of the Foundation of Outstanding Mapuans Incorporated. —Jessica Bartolome/KG, GMA News
