Power in Marinduque still out after ‘Nina’
The power supply in the province of Marinduque is still unrestored four days after the onslaught of Typhoon Nina.
According to a News TV Live report on Friday, power outage has been plaguing Boac since Nina's landfall on December 26.
The typhoon toppled electric posts, trees, and damaged houses in the province, the report said.
Meanwhile, an oil tanker from Subic, Zambalas was washed ashore in Brgy. Banot in Gasan, Marinduque. The oil tanker M/T Obama was supposed to deliver petroleum to Tacloban, Leyte.
The 21 crew members of the oil tanker were safe, the report said.
