One dead, 21 hurt as bus loses control in Nueva Vizcaya

One person died while 21 others were injured after a bus lost control and crashed into a rice field in Solano, Nueva Vizcaya.

Based on initial investigation, the GV Florida bus heading for Quirino province lost control when it tried to overtake a truck and avoided another vehicle, a report on "24 Oras" said Friday.

The front of the bus was wrecked while almost all of its windows were shattered during the crash.

The report said the bus had been removed from the accident site.
