Fire hits military camp in Tarlac


An explosion and fire hit a military camp in Tarlac City on Tuesday night.

The Tarlac City Police Office said the fire inside Camp Servillano Aquino of the Armed Forces of the Philippines' Northern Luzon Command started at around 10:30 p.m.

It said that the fire struck the military camp's ammunition depot. Explosions were heard as the fire razed the building.

A wife of a certain Capt. Armando Bohol was hurt in the fire, which was put out before midnight.

Authorities have yet to determine the cause and damage from the fire.  —ALG, GMA News
