Male corpse found in Cotabato still unidentified   

Authorities have yet to identify a male corpse found in a pineapple plantation in Brgy. Maligo in Polomolok, South Cotabato last Friday morning. 

An initial investigation by the Polomolok Police showed that the corpse was hogtied, the face was wrapped in packaging tape, and the torso bore multiple gunshot wounds. 

The victim wore red and blue shorts, several tattoos on one arm, and stood at 5'5".

Authorities said that the body was already in its decomposing stage, and that no family member has claimed the victim yet.

The police suspect the man was a victim of summary execution, adding that they also found a body in the same area last month. — Joseph Tristan Roxas/LBG, GMA News
