Nine buses reduced to ashes in Baliwag Transit terminal

A total of nine buses were razed in a fire that broke at the terminal of Baliwag Transit in Baliwag, Bulacan on Sunday, a report on Unang Balita on Monday said.

The fire was believed to have been sparked by garbage set on fire at the terminal.

Initial investigation of the Bureau of Fire Protection showed that the incident happened at 2 p.m. 

The fire quickly spread to the dried grass on the ground where the buses were parked.

It took firemen one hour to put out the fire.

Damage was estimated to reach more than P1 million. —KG, GMA News
