Complaint filed vs. Olongapo school not authorized to offer HRM course
Two students filed a complaint against a school in Olongapo City before the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, a report on News To Go on Wednesday said.
According to the complainants, Capstone Institute of Business and Arts has been offering a course in hotel and restaurant services despite it not being authorized to do so.
TESDA said the school was only authorized to offer a housekeeping course from 2009 to 2014.
The school also failed in compliance audit several times, TESDA said.
Capstone Institute of Business and Arts apologized and promised to refund the tuition of the students.
It also said it will transfer the students to schools that are authorized.
The Capstone students who failed to graduate may undergo assessment at TESDA, the report said. —KG, GMA News
