Fire hits Baguio's Café by the Ruins

Fire hit the famous Café by the Ruins in Baguio City on Sunday.

The Bureau of Fire's regional office in Cordillera Administrative Region said the fire broke out at past 11 a.m.

Facebook user The Igorot shared a video of the fire incident at the café.

In a statement on Facebook, the restaurant's management said their branch near the Baguio City Hall was hit by fire.

It said that at past 2 p.m., the fire had been put out.

"All customers and employees were safely evacuated. There is an ongoing investigation," the cafe management said. —ALG, GMA News
