Bus falls into ravine in Calauag, Quezon, more than a dozen hurt

Seventeen people were hurt on Wednesday morning after a bus and an AUV collided in Calauag, Quezon, with the bus falling into a ravine.

The accident occurred along Doña Aurora, Maharlika Highway.

Sixteen of the injured were passengers of the Isarog Bicol Bus, while the other one was a passenger of the Toyota Avanza AUV.

The AUV was almost flattened while the bus fell 10 feet into the ravine then turned over.

The injured have been brought to hospitals in Calauag and Lopez towns for immediate treatment.

According to the Philippine National Police in Calauag, the Isarog Bicol Bus was on its way to Manila when it collided with the AUV.
