Mild quake hits Butuan City
A mild quake rocked Butuan City before noon Monday, but state volcanologists said it was not powerful enough to cause damage or casualties. Radio dzBB reported Monday that the quake measured magnitude 3.6 and was recorded at 11:21 a.m. It was felt at Intensity II in Butuan City. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the quake was not likely connected to a quake that occurred off General Santos City earlier at 9:59 a.m - GMANews.TV
