Brothers aged 5, 7 die in Quezon fire

Two children died in a fire that razed their home in Quezon province on Saturday night.

The victims were identified as siblings Joshua and Dave Platas, aged 7 and 5.

The local fire bureau said the children died inside their home which was hit by fire at around 11 p.m.

The incident happened in Barangay Bulakin Dos, Dolores town.

Investigators said the fire was caused by an unattended lighted candle.
