Missing 17-year-old Vaughn Carl Dicang found dead in Baguio creek

The 17-year-old high school student who had been missing since Friday was found dead on Thursday.

The body of Vaughn  Carl Dicang, a student of the Baguio Science High School, was found in the creek in Barangay Balacbac, where he was last seen alive.

Initial investigation showed that his body was already in an advanced stage of decomposition when found at 10:05 a.m.

Dicang's body was positively identified by his cousin Willner Dicang.

Police findings showed Dicang went out of their house around 9 a.m. of September 1.

The Grade 12 student from Baguio Science High School was last seen wearing a gray jacket and dark pants, carrying a red Hawk backpack.

Vaughn was with his friends until he left to go home in the afternoon. However, he did not make it home. The probe is ongoing as of posting time. —NB, GMA News
