Ateneo de Davao suspends classes over bomb threat
The Ateneo De Davao University (ADDU) suspended classes Friday afternoon following a bomb threat in its Jacinto campus.
The announcement first came from ADDU president Fr. Joel Tabora SJ, who tweeted "ADDU Classes in Jacinto Campus called off for the rest of the day. Stay away until all is checkd."

Official campus publication Atenews said through Twitter that reports of a bomb threat at the ADDU campus prompted school officials to "require" all students to leave immediately.

Atenews tweeted photos of students and staff vacating school premises and a bomb squad inspecting the scene.

The official ADDu account on Twitter reminded students and staff to "stay safe, don't panic, and be vigilant."

According to Atenews, evening classes are also canceled pending announcement otherwise.
