Cebu Pacific aircraft lies in grassy area off Iloilo runway

A Cebu Pacific Air passenger aircraft lies on a grassy area in the Iloilo International Airport after it skidded off the runway upon landing from Manila at about 11:10 p.m. on Friday.

Operations at the Iloilo International Airport are closed until 6 p.m. this Saturday after its runway was shut late Friday night when the airplane overshot the runway upon landing. —Peewee Bacuño/LBG, GMA News
