70 open pipe mufflers destroyed in Koronadal City

About 70 illegal open pipe mufflers (tambutso) were destroyed by authorities in Koronadal City, South Cotabato.

According to a report on Unang Balita on Wednesday, a payloader was used to crush the confiscated mufflers from motorcycle riders.

Police got the mufflers from confiscated motorcycles in the past four months.

The said mufflers cause a very loud noise when a motorcycle engine runs.

Police said they will return the confiscated motorcycles to their owners once the latter re-attach the original mufflers. —KG, GMA News
