Woman killed in four-vehicle collision in Batangas

A woman was killed in a four-car collision on the STAR Tollway in Ibaan, Batangas on Sunday.

A report on 24 Oras identified the fatality as Millincel Alvis.

Alvis' eight-year-old son Herc survived the accident.

Based on the initial investigation, a truck collided with a sports utility vehicle (SUV) due to defective brakes. The SUV then crashed into another SUV, which collided with the Elf truck.

The driver of the truck was identified as Bernardo Baral, who had been apprehended by authorities and is now facing multiple charges.
