Duterte lectures cops, firemen on emergency response in Davao City

President Rodrigo Duterte on Wednesday lectured policemen and firemen about effective emergency response while in Davao City.

A photo showed Special Assistant to the President Secretary Christopher Go taking a selfie showing Duterte writing on a whiteboard as uniformed officials listened.

It was said that Duterte discussed emergency responses in a meeting with the concerned officials in Panacan.

Duterte was joined by Interior Undersecretary Eduardo Año and other local officials, a source said.

At least 50 homes were gutted by fire in Davao City on New Year's Day.

Two days before Christmas, fire also hit the NCCC mall in Davao City. A total of 38 people were confirmed killed in the blaze. —NB, GMA News
