Two suspected NPA members arrested in Caraga


Two suspected members of the New People's Army (NPA) were arrested in a joint operation of Police Regional Office 13 Regional Intelligence division, the Agusan del Sur Provincial Police Office, the 26th Infantry Battalion, Philippine Army and personnel from the La Paz Municipal Police station.

The suspects were served a warrant of arrest for murder on Monday.

PRO 13 Regional Director Chief Supt. Noli Romana identifid the suspects as 63-year-old Crisanto Torres Mondejar also known as Santos Mondejar and 25-year-old Blim Numeron Mondejar also known as Jun-Jun Mondejar. Both suspects area residents of Barangay San Patricio, La Paz, Agusan del Sur.

The warrant was isued by Regional Trial Court 10th Judicial Region Branch 6 Executive Judge Kimal M. Salacop dated Nov. 3, 2017.
