Six minors accused of raping 18-year-old in Cebu

Six minors have been accused of raping an 18-year-old in Mandaue City, Cebu.

Police investigation showed that the suspects, together with the victim and her 21-year-old sibling, had decided to drink alcohol in an apartment on Sunday.

When the victim got drunk, the suspects—four of whom were 16-years-old and the two others, 17—allegedly raped the teenager.

The victim's sibling caught the suspects, prompting her to immediately report the incident to authorities.

"Napansin niya na nagsalitan sila papunta sa itaas at bumababa kaya pinuntahan niya sa itaas," Police Chief Inspector Wilbert Parilla said.

"Ang isa naabutan na niya doon. Doon na rin nagtapat ang kanyang kapatid na ginalaw siya," he added.
