Cops' names, photos seized from slain drug suspect in Bulacan
Police killed a suspected drug dealer and hired gun in a buy-bust operation in Sta. Maria, Bulacan on Sunday.
Local police chief Superintendent Carl Omar Fiel identified the suspect as Louie Lapig, 50, resident of Barangay Turo, Bocaue, Bulacan.
Fiel said Lapig pulled out a gun and fired when policemen were about to arrested him after exchanging drugs and money with a police poseur-buyer.
He said operatives seized a .38 revolver, grenade and several sachets of shabu worth P5,000 from Lapig.
A list of name and photos of policemen were also recovered from Lapig's bag.
Fiel said Lapig could be a hired gun and the policemen on his list were possibly targets.
He added that Lapig could be part of a drug ring operating in Sta. Maria and two more towns in Bulacan. —report from Rommel Ramos/ALG, GMA News
