Housing beneficiaries in Bulacan allegedly sell, rent units

Some housing beneficiaries in San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan have allegedly sold their units due to financial issues and the far location of the housing site.

A report on News To Go on Wednesday said that the units at Pabahay 2000 can reach up to P160,000 each.

Residents say that more than half of the units have been sold, while others are also being rented.

The housing units in Pabahay 2000 were intended for informal settlers from Manila and Quezon City.

The National Housing Authority said that beneficiaries are not allowed to sell their units. —Jessica Bartolome/KG, GMA News
