Residents of Bulakan, Bulacan alarmed by dog killings
Residents of a barangay in Bulakan, Bulacan have raised concerns after two separate incidents of pet dogs being killed by an unknown gunman.
In a report on GMA's "24 Oras Weekend" on Sunday, residents of Barangay Perez in Bulakan, Bulacan said at least two incidents were recorded of dogs being killed after they were shot by a still unidentified gunman.
"Nakarinig po kami ng isang putok ng baril, and kilala ko po kasi 'yung boses ng aso ko," said a resident of the barangay, who was not identified in the report. The resident's dog Denver, was shot in the head.
A similar incident was reported a day earlier, when another dog in a nearby residence was also shot in the head.
With this, residents are appealing to the barangay officials to ensure the safety of the area as people may be the next victims, considering that a pregnant woman in the area recently reported being hit by a stray bullet.
— Jon Viktor D. Cabuenas/BM, GMA News
