Cars swept, homes submerged as Ompong floods Baguio village

Massive flooding submerged cars and homes in a village in Baguio City as it was battered by strong rains brought by Typhoon Ompong.

Photos taken by YouScooper Gladys Vergara at past 12 pm on Saturday show the extent of the damage in Imelda Village.

Water can be seen cascading from the windows of the houses.

According to Vergara, residents have all safely evacuated.

Ompong is makings its way out of the Philippine Area of Responsibility after ramming through northern Luzon. -Jessica Bartolome/NB, GMA News
