50-year-old survives Cebu landslide; 9 people rescued so far
Nine people have been rescued from the landslide-hit area in Naga City, Cebu as of Friday afternoon.
The latest was a 50-year-old man identified as Nito Gepuit who was rescued at Sitio Tagaytay in Barangay Tinaan around 5 p.m., according to an update from Sandra Aguinaldo on GMA News TV's Quick Response Team.
The old man was found alive a day after the landslide buried several homes on Thursday.

Rescuers also rescued a 12-year-old girl at around midnight, but she was the only one in her family to survive the slide.
Twenty-nine bodies have been retrieved from the site as of the report.
