Lindsay Custodio’s husband, former Tanauan vice mayor Julius Platon, dies

Former Tanauan, Batangas Vice Mayor Julius Platon died on Monday after reportedly suffering a heart attack while driving on the South Luzon Expressway.

Platon was the husband of former showbiz personality Lindsay Custodio.

His death was confirmed in a post on Platon's Facebook account.

The entertainment news site PEP.ph quoted the Facebook page Colorful Tanauan as regards Platon's heart attack while driving.

"To our dearest family and friends, it is with a heavy heart that we inform you all of the sudden and untimely passing of our beloved Julius," it said.

The former vice mayor's wake will start on Tuesday at the Heritage Memorial Chapel in Taguig.

There will also be a special mass and necrological service for Platon at the Tanauan City Hall on November 21 at 9 a.m.

His remains will be brought back to the Heritage chapel on the same day at 6 p.m. and interment will be in the morning of November 24. —Dona Magsino/NB/KG, GMA News
